AC Milan joined Chelsea, Liverpool and Schalke in observing 1899 Hoffenheim’s Roberto Firmino during their last match-day.

The 22 year-old Brazilian was on the scoresheet for the German side when they faced Mainz in their last Bundesliga encounter.

According to Bild the Rossoneri and several other European clubs sent scouts to watch the talented attacking midfielder in action.

Despite the January signing of Keisuke Honda there is still a sharpness missing from Milan’s midfield which they are looking to address.

Firmino has scored 13 goals in 24 appearances for Hoffenheim and his adaptation to European football has made him a very wanted man.

Milan would have to part with approximately €12 million if they wanted to snare the Brazilian.
