Udinese striker Luis Muriel could be the man to replace Mario Balotelli at AC Milan should the Italian international be sold at the end of the season.
Issues with behaviour and poor form have marked Balotelli’s season at Milan making his future with the club increasingly uncertain.
According to Fichajes.net the 22 year-old striker could be bought from Udinese with the money made from Balotelli’s sale.
Muriel had an explosive introduction to Serie A with Lecce and has scored eight goals in 28 appearances for Udinese this season.
However the Rossoneri will not make an offer with Balotelli still on their books despite their long-term interest in the player.
The Colombian has been on Milan’s radar since 2012 and was thought to be a replacement for Alexandre Pato when the Brazilian returned to Brazil.
