Borussia Dortmund follow unhappy Inter starlet

Mateo Kovacic - Inter are reportedly prepared to make a bid for midfielder .

The young star has been struggling for form and playing and could be close to an exit unless Inter coach Walter Mazzarri can consistently fit him into the Inter starting XI.

TuttoMercatoWeb report that Borussia Dortmund are prepared to make an offer of around €15 million for the Croatian, who joined Inter for €13 million from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2013.

The report continues that due to the purchase of Hernanes from Lazio and Fredy Guarin’s starting role at the Nerazzurri, Kovacic has struggled for time and could be keen to leave but Inter are reluctant to sell a player with the 19-year-old’s potential.

Kovacic has made 35 appearances for Inter in Serie A since his arrival.
