Aurelio De Laurentiis NapoliNapoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis has admitted that Roma will be a tough team to beat ahead of Sunday’s match at the San Paolo.

The Partenopei will be hosting the Giallorossi in Naples on Sunday and the president is hoping that his team can secure a victory over the capital city club at home like they did in the Coppa Italia semi-finals, though he understands it will be a difficult task.

De Laurentiis spoke through his official Twitter on Saturday and expressed his confidence in the Azzurri’s ability to defeat the Lupi as they attempt to narrow the six-point gap between them and Roma in the Serie A table and take second place.

“Dear boys, we’ve already beaten Roma in the Coppa Italia in order to advance to the final,” wrote the 64-year-old Napoli chief.

“Tomorrow is going to be an important match for our objectives in the league this season.

“It will not be easy, as Roma are a very strong team, but with your grit and determination we will win!

“Come on, guys! Forza Napoli!”
