Livorno coach Domenico Di Carlo believes his side need to give more in their upcoming games if they are to stay up.

The Italian was speaking after the Amaranto’s 2-0 defeat at the hands of Atalanta.

While speaking to Sky Sport Italia, he referred back to the weekends 3-1 defeat by Torino.

“Tonight we saw a different attitude to that of Turin,” he said.

“They had space to play in and they made the most of their opportunities.”

He went on to say Livorno need to stay united and to give more in their coming games in order to avoid relegation.

“We are all angry and we know we need to give more,” the tactician commented. “We come from two defeats.

“We need to be more decisive and clinical in attack.

“Lets look ahead to Inter with courage and we can fight to stay in Serie A next year by sticking together and finding strength in our group.”

This defeat leaves Livorno in 18th place in Serie A, two points behind Bologna in 17th.
