Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa has thanked the clubs fans after his sides 4-1 victory against AC Milan.
The Spanish side progressed into the Champions League Quarter Finals with a 5-1 aggregate win over the Rossoneri.
“The fans have been great, people will always support us and not just me,” Costa told AS.
“Which opponent would we like to meet in the Quarter Final? There is little to choose from, all teams that reach the Quarter Finals are great.”
Defeat for Milan means that they have now been knocked out in the round of 16 in the Champions League in four of the last five seasons.
