Fiorentina are hoping to bring Real Madrid midfield man Sami Khedira to the Artemio Franchi for next season.
The German international moved from Stuttgart to the Los Blancos in 2010. He is currently valued at €22 million having a year left on his contract.
According to La Nazione, the Italian Cup finalists are rumored to be trying to bring in the Madrid midfielder for €14 million on a €4m per year contract. It has also been suggested that they could use Mario Gomez to help them to convince his national teammate to come to Florence.
Khedira has also been linked to Manchester United and Arsenal in the recent past.
The Los Meringues midfielder has been out injured since he picked up a knock against Juventus in the Champions League group stages. He has scored six goals during this time in the Spanish capital.
