Juventus may rest Tevez for Europa League tie

Carlos Tevez may not risk playing in their Europa League first leg clash with on Thursday due to some discomfort in his knee.

The Argentinian was expected to start with in attack but an injury sustained during the weekend could rule him out of the clash with the Viola.

Tuttosport reports that the former Manchester City man has been complaining of a problem with his patellar tendon, and that will be evaluated tomorrow.

At the moment Juventus coach would rather not risk any further damage and will pick either Fernando Llorente or Sebastian Giovinco to partner Osvaldo up front on Thursday.

Juventus beat Fiorentina 1-0 on Sunday in their Serie A clash.
