Fiorentina forward Giuseppe Rossi urged fans to show their support for the Viola ahead of their match with AC Milan on Wednesday.

The Gigliati will be hosting the Rossoneri at the Stadio Franchi on Wednesday and the 27-year-old, who is still currently out nursing a knee injury he suffered back in January, wants his team to have everyone’s support as they look for the win against the struggling Milan side.

Rossi spoke through his official Twitter account ahead of Wednesday’s match and revealed that he’ll be cheering Fiorentina on from the stands during the game.

“Tonight the team needs all of our support! I’ll be there, will you?” wrote the Italian international, who scored 14 goals in his 18 Serie A appearances before suffering his injury.

Giuseppe Rossi is still undergoing treatment for his knee and is expected to possibly return to the Viola squad before the end of the season, and may also be able to make the trip to Brazil with Italy for the World Cup this summer.
