Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco says his side are now looking to their next game with Sampdoria in the immediate aftermath of a 1-0 loss against Udinese.

The re-hired coach wants his side to put that Zebrette defeat instantly behind them as they look to beat the drop in a game in which they were gifted the perfect chance to salvage a point but Sergio Floccari missed with a second half penalty.

“I think the game was a very balanced game and we created a good chance early with Zaza and then Di Natale got the winner for them off a rebound not long afterwards,” he told Rai Sport.

“In the second half, we played an excellent match. We must just try to take our chances better than we did in this game.

“We must now put the defeat from our minds because the game is finished. We are already thinking about the next game against Sampdoria.”
