The situation between AC Milan coach Clarence Seedorf and vice-president of the club Adriano Galliani remains tense.

Reports have surfaced that the pair’s relationship has been allegedly damaged. There have been many rumors that Seedorf could be sacked at the end of the season if he fails to guide the Rossoneri to at least a fifth place finish.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Galliani and Seedorf had lunch together on Sunday in a bid to smooth relations, but tensions between the two still remain high, with the current situation remaining unresolved.

Both parties have denied any rift in the relationship between them, but it has become apparent that the two’s differing philosophies have negatively influenced their professional relationship, with Galliani pushing for a new coach for the 2014/15 season.

However, contrary to Galliani’s wishes, Seedorf has led Milan to seventh place in Serie A with a fantastic run of form that has seen them win five consecutive Serie A games, a feat not achieved since their Scudetto winning season in 2011.
