AC Milan are expected to meet with Sampdoria to decide the future of midfielder Andrea Poli.

The 24 year-old joined the Rossoneri last summer but the club are required to enter further negotiations for the player’s full ownership.

According to Secolo XIX talks will begin between Milan and Sampdoria in order to avoid the dreaded sealed envelope blind auction.

Vice-president Adriano Galliani will meet former Milan director Ariedo Braida to discuss the move as a go-to man for Sampdoria.

Milan have reportedly already paid €3 million for half Poli’s contract and will need to pay the same amount to own the player outright.

Bartosz Salamon’s future is also the topic of conversation and could be used as a paper weight in the deal to resolve Poli’s future.

The Italian international has made 37 appearances in total for Milan this season scoring twice and creating four goals.
