AC Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani on Wednesday reassured fans that his relationship with Barbara Berlusconi is “never been better” and calmed rumours of a Kaka summer exit.

He also weighed in on the condition of the team, on the schedule and on his working relationship with Barbara Berlusconi.

“A team has to be measured in time span longer than a month, in the last 15 year Milan always played in the European competitions,” Galliani told TuttoMercatoWeb at a Gatorade event.

“Even though we will not play in the Champions League next year, we have still done better than the other Italian teams have.

“I don’t make predictions for the final part of the season, the team seems on the rise, both physically and technically.I am seeing big improvements that hopefully will translate into results.

“The schedule is not easy or hard, it depends on us to make it easy, not on the opponents.

Milan midfielder Riccardo Kaka is rumoured to be close to a MLS move to Orlando, but the Rossoneri chief calmed the rumours.

“There are no news regarding Kakà, his contract is well-known.

“The relationship between me and Barbara has never been better than how it is now, she is the one who can answer about the ownership-related questions.

Galliani continued to address Milan squad issues, including the striker Mario Balotelli’s performances and the possible redemption of Adil Rami and Adel Taarabt’s loan deals.

“Balotelli never felt bad, last year he scored a goal per game and he has a very high scoring average, he has had a positive performance.

“We will speak in May about Rami and Taarabt, when their loan spells will end, the numbers are settled.

“Micheal Essien and Sulley Muntary are both injured in the midfield, but we have the suitable replacements.”
