AC Milan winger Valter Birsa’s agent Alberto Maria Fontana has discussed the Slovenian international’s future with the Rossoneri.

The former Torino player has not been particularly impressive this season, scoring just twice in 19 matches, and his playing time has been limited even further by the arrivals of Keisuke Honda and Adel Taraabt during the winter transfer window.

TuttoMercatoWeb interviewed the player’s agent about a possible transfer for Birsa at the end of the season, but the agent had this to say:

“Birsa is very serene and completely at the disposal of Seedorf.”

When asked about the arrivals of Honda and Taraabt, Fontana stated:

“It is is true [that it will be harder for Birsa]. They occupy the same area of the field, even though they have completely different characteristics.

“His future? Hard to say now. We will evaluate at the end of the season, he has a contract with Milan until 2016.

“Contact from other clubs? Absolutely not, for now there is nothing.”

Birsa has fallen down the pecking order in Milan since the beginning of the season, and his future may well be decided by whether or not the Diavolo decide to acquire loanee Taraabt on a permanent basis.
