Giovanni Bia, the agent of Manchester United forward Federico Macheda, has linked his client with a move to Bologna saying that the 22-year-old would entertain the supporters of the Rossoblu.
Macheda is currently on loan at English Championship side Birmingham City and has enjoyed a prolific scoring run with the Blues.
“I think Macheda could be a player in a position to entertain the audience at the Dall’Ara,” said Bia speaking to TuttoBolognaWeb.com.
“This year he has scored 12 goals in the Championship.”
The former Italy Under-21 international joined United’s youth system in 2007 from Lazio but has struggled to feature for the first team since his debut in 2008 with Birmingham City being the fifth club he has been sent on loan to.
With Macheda’s contract expiring at the end of this season, Bia’s comments suggest he has already begun the process of finding his player a new club.
