Juventus legend and Sydney FC player Alessandro Del Piero does not intend to retire, but he does not know where he will play next season.
His contract with the Australian team expires soon and the management is still deciding whether to renew it or not.
“Now I want to rest and try to find out what the future holds for me and what I will do next season,” Del Piero told the Australian press.
“Surely I want to keep playing, but I do not know where.”
He finished the season with ten goals and nine assists in 23 matches, carrying the team to the playoff where they have been eliminated by Melbourne Victory.
Last month, Del Piero was named the global Asian Cup ambassador.
