Atalanta coach Stefano Colantuono has stated that the Nerazzurri are still looking to finish in a Europa League spot.

La Dea fell 3-1 to Roma on Saturday but the coach remains adamant that his side can continue their push for a finish in one of the top spots.

“We are in good position, we will stand a chance,” the coach told Sky Sport Italia.

“We secured our stay in Serie A. It will not be easy to reach the qualification for a continental competition but we have to try.”

“We had a bad game [against Sassuolo] and we have been unlucky, our week has been positive.

“These games are important to prove that we have not given up yet.”

He remarked on his future, stating that Atalanta’s season has been excellent.

“I am not thinking about the future, working at Atalanta is very gratifying for me.

“I am focused on the end of the season, in any case it will have been a great year for our team.”
