After Bologna’s 2-2 draw away at Inter, the Rossoblu coach Davide Ballardini said the point picked up against the Nerazzurri is very useful in their fight to avoid relegation.
The Emilian side twice fought back to level through goals from Jonathan Cristaldo and Panagiotis Kone to leave San Siro with a point.
“For us I’m talking about a valuable point in the fight for survival, but every game at this point of the season have to be competed in this way,” said Ballardini to Mediaset Premium in his post-match comments.
“Ours is a difficult league, we have two points over third bottom but the road is still long.”
“There are no easy games, every game is there to be played for and we need to always give our all in every aspect.”
The Bologna coach was also asked about his side’s reaction after seeing Inter take the lead:
“We were well set up, we started a bit tentatively but afterwards we created a number of chances.”
“We must keep up this approach until May, we even created chances to win.”
