Bari have set a Serie B record for tickets sold for a single match before their next game at the San Nicola against Latina on Thursday .

In February, news broke the Mattarese family were seeking bankruptcy in order to solve the massive debt the club had ensued.

Despite the turmoil surrounding the club from Puglia, the Galletti are currently sitting in 8th place in Serie B with a chance to finish in the promotional playoff places.

Tuttomercatoweb.com report that support for Bari has not wavered as they have broken the record for the most tickets sold for a single match two days before their encounter with Latina.

The Galletti have broken the previous record of 19,834 tickets, also set by Bari when they hosted Empoli.  This time around, they have already sold 21,000 tickets for Thursday’s match.

Bari players have also invited fans via a video over the internet to wear red and white to the match in order to create a vibrant atmosphere.
