Bayern Munich are the latest entry for the race of Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba and are reportedly set to offer Mario Mandzukic, Xherdan Shaqiri and cash in return.

The French international joined the Bianconeri on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2012 and is on a €600,000-a-year contract with his current employers which ends in 2016.

According to TuttoSport, the Bavarians are also in pursuit of the 21-year-old and are willing to offer the reigning Italian champions Mandzukic, Shaqiri and cash in exchange to bring the Frenchman to the Allianz Arena next season.

The first captain to clinch the Under 20 Fifa World Cup for Les Bleus is largely in demand as he is being tracked by PSG and Real Madrid, though the Turin side continue to dismiss any rumours of him leaving the club.

The former Manchester United midfielder gave an interview after the 1-0 home win over Bologna stating that he has not thought about his contract situation at this moment and has not spoken to anyone at the club, being completely focussed on his game at the present.
