Chievo goalkeeper Michael Agazzi is reportedly set to join AC Milan at the conclusion of the season.

The 29 year-old has been sent out on loan from Cagliari after he failed to agree on a new deal with his contract set to expire in the summer.

According to SportMediaset the Italian has already met with the Rossoneri and will join them in June once personal terms are ironed out.

Milan are eager to turn over a new leaf with Christian Abbiati set to retire at the end of the season and Marco Amelia likely to leave.

It remains to be seen whether il Diavolo will invest further in goalkeepers and whether Agazzi would be first choice at the San Siro.

Ajaccio’s Guillhermo Ochoa and Newcastle United’s Tim Krul have also been linked with Milan and could limit Agazzi’s playing-time.
