Joseph Lee, agent of Real Madrid midfielder and Inter target Casemiro, has revealed that he hasn’t been in contact with the Biscione since January.

The 22-year-old has struggled to find space in the Madrid line up, making just nine Primera Division appearances this season thus far, and has been linked to both the Nerazzurri and English club Arsenal in recent months, though his agent claims that everything is going fine in Spain.

Lee, who also represents Inter midfielder Hernanes, spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb about his client’s future and insisted that it’s too early to talk about a possible move to the Milan side.

“Have I spoken with Inter about Casemiro? Yes, I talked with them whilst I was closing the Hernanes deal in January,” said the agent.

“He is doing very well in Spain, but of course he’s happy that a club like Inter are following him.

“But since January I have not spoken to the Nerazzurri, and I think it would be too early to give any sort of comment.

“Casemiro likes the Italian league, but like I say, it’s too early to talk about that.”

The agent also commented on how Hernanes is settling in at Inter since joining the club from Lazio during this season’s January transfer window.

“He’s very happy at Inter. His goal is to play in the Champions League with them, and I think next season that will be achieved.”
