Inter sporting director Piero Ausilio was in Madrid for the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday and Chelsea striker Demba Ba has emerged as transfer target for the Italian side.
Inter are thought to be interested in a number of players that took part to the match including, John Obi Mikel and Fernando Torres.
But, according to Sky Sport Italia, as Chelsea are expected to take Diego Costa to Stamford Bridge, one of either Ba or Torres will leave and Inter are ready to bring one to the San Siro.
Ausilio, who is set to meet president Erick Thohir on Thursday, will also convene with Beppe Bozzo, the agent of Alvaro Morata, who could replace Mauro Icardi if the latter is sold to Atletico Madrid.
