AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has stated that he wants the Rossoneri to challenge for a Champions League spot next season.

The Rossoneri, who now have four consecutive wins in the Serie A, are making steady progress thanks to their January signings according to Galliani.

“We always want to fight for the top places and we always want to qualify for the Champions League,” he told Sky Sport Italia.

“I don’t know who would have predicted that Roma would have the type of season they have had after finishing in seventh last season.

“Do we want [Adel] Taarabt? Yes but don’t let QPR know or else they won’t give us a discount. We want the same thing from Valencia for [Adil] Rami. The two players are doing well.”

Milan are currently eight in the Serie A table with 48 points, five points behind the final European qualification spot.
