Guidolin: Udinese enjoyed change of formation

Guidolin - UdineseSpeaking after Udinese’s 1-1 draw with Napoli, Zebrette coach Francesco Guidolin had encouraging words for his players.

Udinese drew level in the 54th minute with a Bruno Fernandes goal after Napoli took the first half lead through Callejon.  The coach had words of praise for his side after the draw at the Friuli.

The tactician share his thoughts with Rai Sport Italia after the match.

“It was a good match, even if we were a bit cautious in the first fraction of the game.”

“We are experimenting with a new formation,” continued Guidolin. “We were more aggressive in the second half and we deserved to draw level.”

“It’s that time of the season to give space to the younger players and those who have not played a lot.”

“The change in our system has been stimulating for the players.”

Udinese sit in 13th spot in Serie A with 39 points and face Torino next Sunday.
