Marek Hamsik NapoliNapoli captain Marek Hamsik has revealed that his team are mainly focused on performing well in their upcoming match against Inter, not the Coppa Italia final.

The Partenopei, who are coming off of a 1-1 draw against Udinese on April 19, will be heading to the San Siro on Saturday to face the Nerazzurri and will then have to prepare for their Coppa Italia final clash with Fiorentina at the Stadio Olimpico on May 3.

Hamsik spoke through his official website about Napoli’s draw with Udinese and outlined the club’s main priorities at this time.

“The first half against Udinese was positive, it went well and we played according to our ideas, which allowed us to take the lead,” said the Slovakian international.

“It’s a shame that we weren’t able to score a second goal, in this case it probably would have allowed us to secure the victory. Unfortunately we did not succeed and ended up granting them an equaliser.

“The priority of the Coppa Italia will arrive after, but first we have an important match against Inter.”
