Insigne - Napoli

Napoli forward Lorenzo Insigne has shed light over his future at the club, insisting there is no other team he’d rather play for.

The 22-year-old striker was chosen to wear the Partenopei armband in their 4-2 win against Lazio and he is now keen to be the permanent captain.

“Playing for Napoli is not easy,” Insigne tells Gazzetta dello Sport.

“When the team did not win the fans pick on me and it made me grow stronger. I represent all the Neapolitans and I will always give my best.

“My future is with Napoli, I want to stay and maybe become the captain of the team.”

The Italian striker has made 47 appearances for the Azzurri in all competitions, scoring nine goals and 10 assists.
