Inter stalwart Diego Milito could be ready to return to his former club Racing Avellaneda at the end of the season.

The veteran striker’s contract expires in June and there have been no signals indicating a possible renewal at the Nerazzurri.

According to Argentinian radio station Radio America, Milito has always wanted to return to the club where he started, and could be set to move back in the summer.

The Argentine played at Racing from 1999 to 2004, making 148 appearances and scoring 37 goals whilst also winning an Apertura championship in 2001.
