Italy will play a friendly against Fluminense on June 8 at Volta Redonda, 130 km outside of Rio De Janeiro.
The match will mark the Azzurri’s last match before the start of the World Cup as Italy will square off against England in the first match of the group stage on June 14.
“The Italian Federation requested it and we accepted their invitation,” the vice-president of the Brazilian club told O Globo.
“We will play at the best of our forces, except of course the ones who will be called up for the World Cup.”
The Italian camp during the competition will be based at Mangaratiba, in the state of Rio De Janeiro.
