According to reports in Italy, Juventus could make a surprise move for Galatasaray’s striker Didier Drogba in the summer, to add more ammunition to their forward line.

The contract of the former Chelsea player with the Turkish giants expires in the summer and a number of clubs around Europe have apparently shown keen interest in landing his signature, including Roma and Juventus.

Despite being 36-years-old, Tuttosport reports that the Bianconeri would rather sign an experienced centre forward for free than make the volatile Pablo Osvaldo, who is currently on loan with the Old Lady from Southampton. a permanent signing for around €19 million.

Drogba, who is known for having won a number of trophies with Chelsea, joined Galatasaray in January 2013 from Shanghai Shenhua and has made over 40 appearances since his arrival.
