Lazio forward Keita Balde Diao has revealed that he plans on remaining with the capital city club despite rumours linking him with a possible move away from them this summer.

The 19-year-old has been impressive for the Biancocelesti this season, which has seen him linked to outside clubs including Liverpool, but he insists that he plans on staying with the Italian side and club president Claudio Lotito has already reportedly offered the youngster a new contract.

Keita spoke through social networking site Ask.fm about his intentions to continue playing with Lazio for some time to come and admitted that his main mission is pleasing the team’s fans.

“We are the first team in the capital,” said the former Barcelona youngster. “I will not move from here.

“I don’t care about being famous, I only want to do well for the fans of Lazio.”

The forward, who had played for the Aquilotti youth squad since 2011 before making his professional debut at the start of the current campaign, has scored four goals in his 21 Serie A appearance thus far.
