Nikki Vuksan, agent of Inter midfielder Mateo Kovacic, has revealed that his client’s future depends on what the Biscione want to do with him.

The 19-year-old has publicly expressed his wishes to remain with the Nerazzurri despite reports linking him with a possible move away from the Italian team, as big clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool are supposedly keen on signing him, but his agent claims that the Milan side will ultimately determine whether he stays or not.

Vuksan spoke to FcInterNews.it about his client’s future and admitted that the youngster does indeed wish to continue with Inter, though the club’s plans for him are yet to be known.

“I have said many times that Kovavic has five years on his contract,” said the agent.

“He is an Inter player and will be for as long as the club want. Sunday [against Sampdoria] was a good performance.

“You have to ask if Inter want to keep him or not, it does not depend on us.”
