Lazio drew with Torino 3-3 at the Stadio Olimpico in a pulsating game in Serie A on Saturday afternoon.

Stefan Mauri and Antonio Candreva had given Lazio the lead on two occasions but goals from Jasmin Kurtic, Panagiotis Tachtsidis and Ciro Immobile completed the Torino fight back only for Candreva to bag his second with the final kick of the game. Diego Novaretti was also sent off for the home side.

Lazio would have the first real chance when Antonio Candreva’s shot from a tight angle was well saved from Daniele Padelli and Stefano Mauri was unable to turn home the rebound.

Mauri was then presented with another chance when a fantastic whipped in ball found the captain unmarked in the box but his powerful header flew over the bar.

Lazio began to grab a foothold of the game and Keita Balde Diao dribbled brilliantly through the Torino backline before unleashing a shot that went just inches wide of the post to deny the Senegalese a fifth goal on the campaign.

As the half began to draw to a close Torino came very close to opening the scoring when Cesare Bovo sent a vicious free kick from 20 yards out off the crossbar and out of play.

The strike from Bovo clearly motivated Lazio defender Stefan Radu as he struck a 25 yard shot which was brilliantly pushed over the bay by Padelli.

Just a minute later the deadlock was finally broken when a free kick was headed back across goal by Radu and Mauri was on hand to head the ball past Padelli to give Lazio the 1-0 lead heading into half.

Torino started the second half how they began the first and Glik met a corner on the volley from around 12 yards out only to see the shot fizz agonisingly over the goal.

The Granata did get their leveller soon after when Jasmin Kurtic sent his shot across goal from an angle after being picked out by Riccardo Meggiorini to make it 1-1.

The game still continued to thrill as Lazio were awarded a penalty on the hour mark when Keita was brought down by Padelli.

Candreva was given the honours of stepping up and the Italian chipped the ball down the middle of goal to restore the Biancocelesti’s advantage.

However Torino would once again draw level when El Kaddouri sent a corner to the back post where substitute Panagiotis Tachtsidis hit the ball back across goal and beat Berisha to bring Torino right back to 2-2.

Lazio were reduced to 10 men when Novaretti picked up his second yellow card after fouling an on rushing Darmian with a poor challenge to leave Lazio with a battle for the final minutes of the match.

Torino began to push and were rewarded through the Serie A’s top goal scorer Immobile as he gave the Granata the lead with just minutes remaining, smashing the ball home brilliantly at the near post to make it 3-2.

There would be one final twist though when Felipe Anderson’s miss-hit shot fell to Candreva all alone in the box and he tucked the ball home to make it 3-3 with the final kick of the game.
