Napoli midfielder Marek Hamsik could be bound for the Premier League this summer with both Manchester United and Chelsea said to be interested in acquiring the Slovakian’s services.
After making a bright start under Rafa Benitez, injury travails have hampered the 26-year-old’s progress and since returning from his spell on the sideline he has struggled to perform consistently.
According to English newspaper, The Daily Express, the relationship between the Partenopei number 17 and his Spanish coach has deteriorated and this could alert interest from David Moyes and Jose Mourinho.
However the English sides would have to meet the asking price of Napoli president, Aurelio De Laurentiis, and this is said to be in the region of €35 million.
The former Brescia man has been integral to the Azzurri since arriving back in 2007 but this season he has mustered just six goals in 24 Serie A appearances.
