Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio believes that the Old Lady have matured a lot as a team in the past year.
The Bianconeri are on their way to winning their third consecutive Scudetto this season and are preparing to face Benfica in the Europa League semi-finals, and the 28-year-old feels his team have been demonstrating their increasing strength through their performances on the pitch.
Marchisio recently spoke to Sky Sport Italia about Juve’s motivation to continue doing well despite recent criticism and insisted that they have grown a lot since the last campaign.
“The team is doing well and this is also seen on the field,” said the Italian international.
“Even though we’ve received some criticism, the squad doesn’t risk too much and we’re very cynical when it comes to our goals.
“This means that Juventus have matured a lot in the past year.”
Juventus will be facing Udinese at the Stadio Friuli in their next match on Monday.
