Napoli defender Henrique crashed his car while he was returning home from the training center on Wednesday, heavily damaging the vehicle but luckily he suffered only some bruises.
It is reported that the accident was not caused by high-speed but by aquaplaning and an oil stain on the street.
“Good night! Everything is ok, just a black eye and a bit sore,” Henrique wrote on Twitter on Wednesday evening.
“Aquaplaning is not a joke! The accident happened while I was returning home.
“I want to thank everybody for the support I received today.
“Tomorrow morning, new training session, life goes on!”
Before the player posted, his agent Marquinho Malaquias reassured everybody on Twitter.
“I have spoken with Henrique, everything is ok, for him only a scare caused by the accident.”
The versatile defender is considered questionable for the match against Inter.
