Napoli goalkeeper Pepe Reina has rubbished reports suggesting that he is on his way to La Liga side Atletico Madrid this summer.
The on-loan Spain international has been in fine form, having kept nine clean sheets in 28 appearances for the Partenopei this season.
With a return to parent-club Liverpool in doubt, the 31-year-old has been linked with a permanent away from the Anfield club.
Despite being earlier touted as Victor Valdes’ replacement at Barcelona, recent reports suggest that a move to Atletico Madrid is his most likely destination however Reina denied those suggestions.
“I’m bound to Liverpool for another two years. In the summer, I will decide what to do,” he told Cadena Ser.
“They already have Thibaut Courtois there and I think he will still be there long time to come.”
