Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is reportedly interested in signing one of Palermo’s Abel Hernandez or Guangzhou Evergrande’s 24-year-old Brazilian Elkeson Cardoso.
The Partenopei wish to bolster their attack by adding a deputy striker for main-man Gonzalo Higuain.
According to Il Mattino, De Laurentiis considers Hernandez as an ideal forward capable of emulating the feats of Edinson Cavani.
Napoli, currently third in Serie A, travel to Milan to face Inter on the April 26, while Hernandez has scored 13 goals for Palermo in Serie B this term.
