Napoli coach Rafa Benitez is ready to revolutionise the Partenopei midfield with departures and arrivals slated for this summer.
Jorginho was the first to arrive as he was purchased from Hellas Verona by Napoli in January. Now the Spaniard is ready to add to the midfield with new purchases this summer.
According to Il Mattino, the Spanish tactician is ready to release a few players in order to secure various midfield targets for the Partenopei.
Valon Behrami and Blerim Dzemaili are rumoured to be on their way out of the San Paolo with various players listed as possible targets for a new Napoli midfield.
At the top of the list are Maxime Gonalons of Lyon and Javier Mascherano of Barcelona, although the Frenchman seems the more likely as Mascherano may be a more difficult capture due to his contract which doesn’t expire until 2016.
Also on the Spaniard’s list of midfielders are Fernando of Porto, Atletico Madrid’s Mario Suarez and Javi Garcia from Manchester City.
