Parma midfielder Afriyie Acquah has reflected on scoring his first Serie A goal and the spectacular season the Ducali are having, stating the Crociati will continue to look for success.

The on-loan Hoffenheim man recently found the net in the Ducali’s 4-2 defeat at Roma, and is looking to further his growing reputation.

“I’m very happy with my first goal in Serie A, it was not easy,” the 22-year-old told Parma Channel.

“I have played five years here in Italy and I am happy.

“In my opinion we have played well this year, and we want to do well in every game.

“An idol of the fans? I feel very good, I have to continue like this.”

Acquah also spoke about his chances of being included in the Ghana squad for the 2014 World Cup.

“The World Cup? I am fine and I think the coach of Ghana should call me up I believe.”
