Parma striker Amauri could reportedly be making a move to the MLS in the near future.

The 33-year-old, whose current contract with the Crociati is set to expire in June 2016, has been linked to several MLS teams this season and may possibly make an early departure from the Italian club if the right offer arrives.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, both Toronto FC and the New York Red Bulls have been in contact with the Brazilian-born Italian international throughout the campaign and might be considering new bids for the veteran this summer, as their past proposals in recent months were apparently turned down by Parma.

Amauri returned to the Ducali from Fiorentina in 2012, after previously having a stint with them from 2000-03, and has scored a total of 16 goals in his 58 Serie A appearances since then, with six of those goals coming in 25 league appearances this season thus far. He has earned just one cap for the Italian national team, which came in 2010.
