After helping Paris Saint-Germain to a 3-1 victory over Chelsea in the Champions League on Wednesday night, Marco Verratti has insisted that he and his teammates will not be taking anything for granted in the second leg.

While a two goal advantage could cause some sides to take a cautious approach the 21-year-old reiterated that they will go to London aiming to attack the Premier League side.

“We will not commit the mistake of thinking that we are already in the semis,” Verratti told Sky Sport Italia.

“There are still 90 minutes to play and we will try to attack.”

Once again question over a potential return to Serie A the Italian was quite frank in stating he had no longing to return to his homeland and was happy to remain in the French capital.

“I have no nostalgia for Italy,” admitted the youngster. “I enjoy this experience and I hope to stay in Paris for as long as possible.

“The World Cup? “One hopes, of course, and it is important to do well here to be called-up.”
