Roma could reportedly pass up the opportunity to permanently sign defender Rafael Toloi and winger Michel Bastos this summer.

Both players arrived at the capital city club on loan during this season’s January transfer window, with Toloi coming from Brazilian club Sao Paulo and Bastos coming from United Arab Emirates club Al Ain, and have seemingly been adapting to Rudi Garcia’s tactics, though their place in the Giallorossi squad is still not secure.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini may only consider signing the duo on a permanent basis if their prices are lowered, as he apparently feels they’re too expensive at this time.

Bastos has made 13 Serie A appearances for the Lupi this season thus far, with 12 of those appearances coming as substitutions, and has managed to score one goal, while Rafael Toloi has made just three league appearances for the Italian club this season thus far.
