Roma’s representatives are set for a meeting with the entourage of Porto forward Jackson Martinez as the Giallorossi look to strengthen for next season.

Almost assured of a Champions League place, the Colombian hitman is one of a number of players linked with Rudi Garcia’s side.

Sky Sport Italia report that the two parties will meet shortly after Easter to investigate the possibility of bringing the former Chiapas man to the capital.

Roma are only one of several options for Jackson, who has already scored 44 goals during his two seasons in Portugal, with Napoli, Chelsea and Manchester City also said to be interested in his signature – avenues that his agents are likely to investigate during the summer, as he seems almost certain to leave Porto.

The Colombian international, famed for his spectacular and often gymnastic goals, began his career at Independiente Medellin, before moving to Jaguares Chiapas in Mexico. He has played 26 times for the Cafeteros scoring eight goals.
