Roma midfield dynamo Daniele De Rossi says that the club’s success in securing a Champions League berth next year is testament to the collective efforts of many people within the capital outfit.
A 1-0 win in Tuscany against Fiorentina on Sunday night saw the Giallorossi reach the group stages of the premier European football competition once again.
Speaking about the win, the Azzurri man said: “We put in a great collective performance in this game and the whole group are really making the difference. We have achieved a great goal in getting directly into the group stages of the Champions League.
“That is thanks to everyone. It is down to all at the club, the staff all around, the coaches and the players, everyone did their best all throughout the year.
“Rudi Garcia was very important from the outset, focusing on human relationships.”
