There is another extended weekend of Serie A action ahead, in round 32 of the Serie A season.

The round begins on Saturday evening as Verona is divided for the Derby della Scala.

Chievo are officially the home team and are only two places and two points above the relegation zone.

Verona meanwhile won last time out, 3-0 at home against Genoa, thanks to two late goals from Luca Toni.

The late game on Saturday sees Inter host Bologna at the San Siro.

The Nerazzurri are in poor form having failed to win in their last three Serie A matches.

Bologna have not fared any better, with just one victory in eight Serie A games.

The early match on Sunday is at the Olimpico as Lazio entertain Sampdoria.

Lazio will be looking to continue their impressive home form, having lost just three times at Olimpico this campaign.

Il Doria are in good form having collected seven points from their previous three games, after a 0-0 draw against Fiorentina in round 31.

There are only four games on Sunday afternoon, the highlight being Roma’s trip to Sardinia to play Cagliari.

The home side lost narrowly in round 31 away at Torino 2-1.

Roma meanwhile have already won twice this week, having beaten both Sassuolo and Parma.

Fiorentina take on Udinese with both sides having striking problems.

La Viola failed to score, again, against Sampdoria last time out and coach Vincenzo Montella is still without the pair of Mario Gomez and Giuseppe Rossi.

Although Antonio Di Natale earned his side all three points against Catania in round 31, Udinese could be without their captain for the rest of the season after he picked up a knee injury in the game.

Two sides in contrasting form go head to head in Bergamo as Atalanta take on Sassuolo.

Le Dea had an amazing March in which they won all of their six Serie A matches.

Sassuolo on the other hand, only picked up one point in their six games during March.

Catania host Torino with games running out for the Sicilians to beat the drop.

Last week’s defeat against Udinese means Catania are now six points from safety with only seven games to go.

Il Toro are among several clubs still with a chance of qualifying for the Europa League after beating Cagliari in round 31.

The late game on Sunday is at the Tardini as Parma entertain Napoli.

After an amazing run, Parma have now lost three Serie games in a row and are seeing their dream of European football fading away.

Napoli moved further clear of fourth place Fiorentina at the weekend, with an impressive 2-0 win of defending Serie A champions Juventus.

There are two matches on Monday, the first being Livorno’s trip to Turin to play Juventus.

Juve took a big step towards a Europa League semi-final on Thursday night, with a 1-0 victory at Lyon in the first leg of their quarter final against the French side.

Livorno showed in round 31 that they are up for the fight against relegation, coming back from 2-0 down to draw with Inter.

The round concludes at the Marassi on Monday night, as Genoa host AC Milan.

The homes side were comfortably beaten away at Verona 3-0 in round 31.

The Rossoneri will be hoping for a third consecutive win after victories against Fiorentina and Chievo.
