Sevilla star Ivan Rakitic is said to be honored with the reports linking him to a move to Lazio in the summer.
The 26 year old Croatian maestro has enjoyed an outstanding season in the heart of midfield for the Rojiblancos and has attracted interest in both Italy and England.
Il Messaggero reports that Lazio director Igli Tare met with the entourage of Rakitic in Barcelona recently to try and get a discount on the €20 million price tag that is on the Croatian stars head.
Dejan Rakitic, the Sevilla star’s brother and agent recently told the press: “It ‘s an honor that large companies such as Lazio are thinking about my brother.”
Rakitic has been in splendid form and has netted 12 goals and assisted 10 others in 30 La Liga appearances this term.
