With Massimo Cellino’s takeover of English Championship side Leeds United confirmed, significant changes are set to occur at Cagliari who are also owned by the Italian businessman.

Cellino is seeking to sell the Sardinian outfit to American organisation and negotiations are set to be ongoing with several players and coaching staff set to leave in a summer revolution.

Tuttosport reports that present coach Ivo Pulga is destined to be removed from his position, only to be replaced by Diego Lopez, the man he replaced earlier in the season.

There are also doubts about fan favourite Andrea Cossu who could leave the side in the summer.

In addition, there are also doubts over the future of veteran club captain Daniele Conti and Vlada Avramov who could also leave the Isolani.

Defender Davide Astori is also set to depart the Rossoblu with a big money move to one of Serie A’s largest sides on the cards for the Italy international.

Finally, Cellino is set to use Cagliari to boost the squad of new purchase Leeds with forward Victor Ibarbo and midfielders Andrea Tabanelli and Sebastian Eriksson all set to move to England during the summer revolution.

The speculation surrounding the club’s future has left many Cagliari fans infuriated and believe Cellino is abandoning the club to certain decline.
