Ahead of his almost certain departure from Torino this summer, the agent of striker Ciro Immobile has given the biggest indication that his clients future could rest at Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund rather than a return to co-owners Juventus.
Marco Sommella’s decision to name the German side as a ‘big’ club that the 24-year-old will be looking to join this summer instead of the Bianconeri, who retain an share of the striker, could be seen as an admission that he will not be starring in Serie A next term.
“Ciro wants to play for a big club like Borussia Dortmund,” Sommella told Suddeutsche Zeitung.
The Italian international has been in stunning form for the Granata this season, alongside strike partner Alessio Cerci, hitting the back of the net 20 times in Serie A.
