Carlos TevezJuventus striker Carlos Tevez wants the Old Lady to fight their hardest to win both the Scudetto and the Europa League title this season.

The Bianconeri currently have an eight point lead over second place Roma in the Serie A standings and are preparing to face Benfica in the Europa League semi-finals, which begin on April 24, and the 30-year-old is confident that Antonio Conte can lead the Italian side to securing both titles.

Tevez spoke to Sky Sport Italia about his time at Juventus and their performances this campaign, while also praising coach Conte for helping him grow since his arrival.

“I’m doing fine, I’m recovering physically and I’m thinking of the match against Bologna on Saturday,” said the Argentine, who joined Juve from Manchester City before the start of the current season.

“Is this Tevez’s Juve? Everyone in the team is crucial, it’s not just one player that’s important. Match after match we’ve proven that we’re a great squad with a great formation.

“When I accepted the transfer, I didn’t imagine that Juve could be fighting for both the Scudetto and the Europa League title at this point in the season, but we’re Juventus and we have to fight to win it all.

“We would be happy to be able to secure the double.

“What does Conte need to become a top coach? He’s already at the highest level. This is demonstrated in every match and in all competitions.

“He’s already a top coach and he has been fundamental in my continuing growth as a player.

“The demonstrations in Argentina to have me at the World Cup? I’m a normal player. People love me because I’m one of them.

“It’s nice that people want me to appear for Argentina at the World Cup.

“The desire to win? It’s there, I have a great desire to triumph.”
